What to Expect on Your Wedding Day With Me

You’ve spent months (maybe even years!) dreaming, planning, and pinning ideas for your big day and now it’s finally here. As your wedding photographer, my job is to help you preserve those memories in the most honest, beautiful, and relaxed way possible.

Here’s what it’s like having me by your side on your wedding day:

GETTING READY — Sand Between the Toes, Butterflies in the Belly

I usually arrive a little early (because early is on time in my book). We’ll greet each other, I’ll get a feel for the space, and then I’ll begin with your details your dress, shoes, rings, and any special keepsakes you’ve chosen to include. From there, I start documenting the vibe of the room with candid shots of whatever’s happening whether it’s laughter, music, or a quiet moment of reflection.

Once you’re fully dressed, we’ll take a few calm, beautiful portraits before heading into your First Look or straight to the ceremony, whichever you’ve chosen. We do highly recommend doing a First Look, it gives you a chance to slow down, connect, and soak in the moment together before the celebration begins.

Everything is captured naturally, with care, calm, and intention.

THE CEREMONY — All the Emotion, No Distractions

This is where I go into stealth mode. I'm calm, fully tuned in, and quietly capturing every detail, from the tears in your partner’s eyes to the subtle squeeze of hands at the altar.

I don’t interrupt the flow of your ceremony. You won’t even notice me moving, but I’ll be catching everything that matters.

PORTRAITS — Natural, Fun, and a Little Magic

I know not everyone loves being in front of a camera (I’ve been there too), so I’ll gently guide you with easy prompts and give you space to just be yourselves. I offer a mix of candid and posed portraits depending on what feels right for you. Whether it’s a sweet snuggle, a spontaneous laugh, or a more classic shot for the mantel, I'm here for it all.

The Reception — Dancing, Laughing, Storytelling

Once the formalities are done, it’s time to celebrate and I’ll be right there with you. Whether it’s belly laughs during the speeches or your dad pulling out surprise dance moves, I’m there to catch every bit of it.

Yes, I photograph dancing. And yes, sometimes I dance too!

You’ll receive a sneak peek of highlights to relive the magic while it’s still fresh. Your full gallery will follow within a few weeks, edited with love, intention, and care. These are your forever moments, and I treat them that way.
